(If it was mild, you may not even recall this)

Skin

One or more EM (Erythema Migrans) rash - varying in size and shape with rings of varying shades - reddinsh, purple, or bruised - looking, can be uniformly discolored, warm, smooth, bumpy to the touch, may itch, and can become necrotic, crusty, and oozy. Multiple rashes per bite not at site of bite indicates disseminated Lyme Disease. Later skin problems can include benign nodules or tumors, discoloration/degeneration of the hands or feet. Rashes can be so small that you can hardly notice them and others can be so severe that they require immediate medical attention. Many are misdiagnosed as spider bites or other causes.

*** VERY IMPORTANT!!! -

If you do not have a rash, please remember that approximately only 50% of Lyme Disease patients develop the EM rash

or were aware they were ever even bitten by a tick!
